Hi, I got bz4x limited(AWD) in Jan2023. I am exploring the public charger for this car. Toyota mentioned that it has included one year unlimited charging with EVGO.
We don't have any near by evgo charger, but recently found out the chargepoint is partner with EVGO . so should toyota credit will work on chargepoint charger and get free charging?
Anyone has any experience with that?

Yes, you can use either. I got the same offer for one year.
Great, Thank you for confirming....
a lot of chargepoints are free anyways over by boston
I have always been charged at chargepoint in Oregon. We don't have evgo near by
I can't figure out how to post a new article. My question is, does the car require the WiFi subscription to properly charge at EVgo (for free)? Yesterday my WiFi subscription expired, and I don't need to pay $20 a month for it. I could not get an EVgo charger to communicate with the car. Any commentary on that?

NO! you do not need wifi or the wifi subscription.

Recently I had a couple EVgo chargers not wanting to communicate with my car, but I simply called EVgo and had them reboot the machine and it work just fine after that.

There have been times that i couldn't get my Toyota app to see the EVgo charger, so i gave up and went to the EVgo app (which is synced up with the same email address i used to setup my Toyota app for the free charging) and the EVgo app worked flawlessly. In fact, i have started the charge in the Toyota app before and gone over to the EVgo app and it synced up and showed my current charge details. The Toyota app is kinda useless, because it doesn't show all the details of the charge in progress. I want to see the charge Curve, and current pull of kW, and Toyota doesn't show that.

I have not heard this! or have witnessed it! Unless, if you setup EVgo as your first year free deal first, and then try to go over to CHargepoint and it doesn't work. I have not heard or seen Chargepoint offer their DC charges for free! (yes, you can setup a sync with your account in the Toyota app, so you can find Chargepoint charges, and even plug your credit card into the app so its quick and easy to charge from the Toyota app, but still, as Far as i have seen EVgo is the only one giving ONE FREE year).

If you can provide a link to proof of the matter, then I'll eat my words :) ha ha

Chargepoint is not under the free plan. Toyota only has an agreement with EvGO and the agreement has not yet been amended after the acquisition.
The EvGO free year seems cool, but is kinda "the sleeves out of the vest" in some areas - EvGO is not available in all states (i.e., not a single one in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, or Arkansas. Closest one to me is in Atlanta (200 mi.). It would be great if I could exchange the free EvGO year for ChargePoint credits.

How about an exchange for a gasoline card? At least you could give it to someone with an ICE.
