I hope someone with the update tests the long range trips soon. I know Bjorn Nyland is going to do a repeat 1000 km test, but who knows how the roll-out of this update will go, or when it will arrive in Norway (or the US, where that fast charging on road trips throttle is even worse than in Europe).

Dealer called me yesterday, the May 2023 update is now available.
Should release the 35 mile buffer, not be so vicious on battery with AC or heater used, show % instead of guessometer...

Toyota have started the update here in Norway now, so hopefully Bjorn will be able to repeat the test soon.I hope someone with the update tests the long range trips soon. If they release the buffer, I wonder if we'll still be able to charge to 100%.
I don't believe they are increasing the usable portion (net capacity) in any way, just redefining where zero miles/km is to be more consistent with other manufacturers algorithms.
