A user on ToyotaUsersClub (UK) received an official email about the recall. In the recall was this nugget:

Finally a physical software update to bring the DC fast charging in cold conditions up to speed is soon to be released, this update is something that will be performed by your Toyota Centre ahead of handover.

Edit: I was just reminded that the UK uses a Panasonic battery for all their bZ4X. Not sure if the CATL battery (US AWD models) can be tweaked or not with this software update.

I didn't receive an email, but my dealer in Norway said something similar when I dropped by earlier this week.
