Reuters has a story today reporting that Toyota will begin producing medium and large-sized electric SUVs in Kentucky as soon as summer 2025. They're citing a report by Nikkei business daily and say production goals are 10,000 vehicles per month.
A spokesperson for Toyota seems to have dodged the question, but didn't refute it outright.
It seems like every manufacturer is scrambling to produce EVs in the U.S. in hopes of qualifying for the revamped tax credit.
