Toyota installing locking lug bolts at port even though they are old design - no washer - no oring

The documents that Toyota have submitted to NHTSA and sent to the dealers clearly state to replace any locking bolts with the new standard bolts and either lower the price of the car or issue a refund to the customer for those that already took possession.

Seems like the port didn't get the memo as the car in the Reddit thread was repaired in port.

Damnit Toyota...how many ways can you screw this up?

I get the first part, but what about the price???? What does that mean for those who are still waiting to take possession?

There should be a $90 price reduction. I've seen that on Cars.com (asking price is $90 below MSRP). I'm going to make sure that security locking bolts are not installed and make sure that I get a $90 reduction in price (unless it's already removed from the sticker upon arrival but since the one I posted above was from port, I doubt it).

Toyota is risking a recall of the recall because of this.
