Toyota Crown's listing time in Japan is delayed. Is it said that it adopts the same flaw design as bZ4X?

After the previous Toyota bZ4X left front hub shedding incident appeared in Taiwan, the general agent and Tai Automobile further studied and immediately docked with the original return system. In addition, two more identical frame detachment incidents occurred in the U.S. market at the beginning of June this year, further confirming that the bZ4X hub falls may not be a case. , and launched a global recall and suspended delivery. However, at present, the original factory has not been able to find out whether it is a bolt or which part is defective. Now Japanese media also said that Toyota has postponed the launch of Japanese Crown to autumn because the design may also be applied to the new generation of Crown cars.

As the old saying goes… “When you find something that doesn’t work, stick with it!”…;)
Maybe they hired new people. New people are known to come into a company and trying to stand out by reinventing the wheel. In this case, literally!
The odd thing is that the bZ4X is not the first Toyota product to use wheel bolts. The Lexus IS also uses wheel bolts. Technically, the GR Supra too, but that’s probably because of its BMW origins.

Read a few more articles where various Vice Presidents from Toyota confirmed that the Crown wheel bolts were being looked at. Since the Crown is a global car (as is the BZ4X) and Toyota wants to make it some sort of flagship car, I suspect that adds to the urgency especially considering that the Crown was a big part of Toyota's president's (Toyoda) planning. Launch is now supposed to be first part of September which lines up with new production start of September 7th (if that holds).

Just read that the Crown is expected to be released first week of September. I'm taking everything in the news with a grain of salt though. Wouldn't surprise me to see the line shut down for more of September at this point.
