According to Toyota dealer documents that have been floating around online the past couple of days the bZ is expected to go on sale in April. Since the New York Auto Show is from April 15-24 as well it could be the same time as the show.

Edmunds shows 9 available. Again, may already be spoken for and also probably in transit. Two MD dealers listing so showing on east coast now.
Just out of kicks I searched for them too Just now, and one Listed on Edmunds said $52k, so i went and looked at the dealership, bwhaha.. whatever! This is the biggest joke! WHY? Why would anyone pay $70k for one of these? Why wouldn't you just go plunk that down on a Tesla? and WHO actually is paying these prices? Must be a very high paid Doctor in California or something, and its just chump change ... but again, why would you buy Toyota, if you're making that kinda of money? hmmm

100% agree. That’s the reason I don’t even mention by name or locations that do this BS. The other dealer had $3,000+ options installed. Not sure what that is but it’s better than a 10k markup for nothing other than greed.
side note: the fact that the first two listed on the east coast are in MD backs up what I saw while looking for a RAV4 Prime. MD seems to get the lions share on the east coast, especially Jerry’s and Koon’s dealerships.

Based on my search for a RAV4 Prime last year, then yes, many do (but not all). Of the two listing a BZ4X, Jerry’s list MSRP while Koons lists a large markup. Jerry’s does state than anyone outside their defined zip codes will pay no less than MSRP. They were jerks on the phone last year and via text so I chose to not pursue a deal with them.

My experience, is that most of them are marking up... and the few that are not, aren't being allocated very many! I figure that those that are NOT marking up don't because they want to get a sale anyway they can.... the other dealers are just greedy.

I got one reply from a dealership in WV. they asked if I lived in WV... I said no.... PA..... They told me they couldn't sell to anyone out of state due to those people who lease vehicles... they trade for something else and they have to save cars for them???? They said they were only getting a few.

Is that Kerny Mesa Toyota of SD (part of Penske Automotive)? They just had one pop up on Edmunds (up to 18 now)? Shows as $46,000+ on Edmunds....not sure what dealer lists it as?!?

So the Edmunds list jumped from 19 to 29 tonight but when I looked, it was actually showing 10 new Subaru Solterra models all on the east coast. So Edmunds, as of now, thinks Solterra vin numbers are BZ4X (technically, they are lol).

@Motch6 -I read where you mentioned that the dealers shouldn’t sale just yet but I do find it interesting that one was taken off the board from Edmunds. Could be just dealer using it but could be the lucky person who got the first one off a US lot!😁🤔
