Bjorn Nyland shared a video today where he says Toyota reached out to him about an upcoming software update for the bZ4X that's coming in May.

Not sure if anyone actually watched the video, but I did so I'll summarize.
May update (Bjorn is in Europe though... update may be later/earlier in U.S.)
Will decrease the buffer, expected to unlock 10-20% more range.
Will increase daily DC fast charge throttle limit from 2 to 3.8 per day. Not sure how this is measured, probably in kWh and not actual number of times you plug in to charge.
Will increase actual charging speed/adjust charging curve between 20-80% to charge faster. Nothing was said about 80+
Consumption display is currently incorrect as it includes charging loss. Will be adjusted to reflect actual consumption (should show a lower consumption number) the same way other manufacturers display.
Will display battery % in vehicle - did not specify where
GoM will be fixed to not vary so wildly when you turn on HVAC system.
No word if this will be an OTA or require a trip to the dealership for install.
I'm pretty pumped for this update as it addresses pretty much every nag I had about the vehicle. Hope it comes sooner rather than later.
