Solar Roof \ V2X AC Power Out \ Windshield Electric Defrost \ Service Manual

I'm wondering if anyone knows ANYTHING about some features which didn't make it to the North American bZ4x?

Toyota launched this vehicle with an optional solar roof but I can only find reference to it in the original Japanese press release and some review videos from Malaysia. They also announced Vehicle to Load V2L or V2H which would allow using the DC fast charge bidirectionally.

I see in the Techstream software there are power usage / generation for both the solar roof and AC100 (which I assume was added for Japan).

A German review video mentions a windshield option with (almost) transparent defrost elements which I couldn't find reference to. I wish something like that was available here, the defrost (AC+heating) sucks out so much precious range, I'd considered wearing a snorkle while driving to avoid fogging up the windows.

Phone wireless charging was also only an option in the very most $$$ model in Canada and I didn't want to pay an additional $20k for a $10 feature but now I have to go tearing apart the console of my brand new buzzzz. Hopefully, just gluing a cheap Qi charger to the bottom of the phone holder compartment will do the trick.

I'm not finding much for part numbers, wiring diagrams, service manuals. I guess I'll have to hack it apart and add some missing features.

I have not gotten to review whether these docs cover what you are after, but EVDude collected these: BZ4X - Google Drive. If that link doesn’t work, a link is posted in the comments if this video:

Awesome! Thank you enakffej! I'll check them out and subscribe to EVDude.

FYI, I already see this dump of doc includes T-TCI-5595 which describes how to update the head unit. I took BuzzzzLE into service center a few weeks ago and they couldn't figure out how to apply the patch. I told them they need to format the USB flash storage with a FAT32 file system and they looked at me like I was crazy. So no update for me. I'll just spend another half a day waiting around for Toyota techs to figure out computers.

Don't worry these updates are only covered under warranty for the first year or 10k in Canada, so thanks Toyota.
