no FWD in northeast?

Just heard from a local dealer that Toyota will not be selling any FWD to Northeast, only AWD and mainly Limited for a while.
Anybody else hearing that?

My dealer from upstate NY offered an XLE model this morning but it was AWD. No heated seats so I declined. So XLE models seems to be here and there but not FWD.

I just changed AutoTrader to FWD and there were 29 units listed but all on the west coast, fwiw.

Edit: Autolist app shows 20+ FWD models but all on the west coast (actually, all in California), fwiw.
I made a quick pivot table from the bZ4X allocation spreadsheet. Here is where the FWD and AWD are going so far. Not sure how much of the country this covers. I haven't checked it for complete accuracy, but it gives you the general idea.

Hey @md., thanks for putting this pivot table together and sharing it here. Where can we find the allocation spreadsheet you are talking about?
I don't want to make it too easy! Search for the bZ4X allocation spreadsheet on Reddit. And send the creator a cup of coffee if it's helpful.

I cannot give this post enough like or love! Thank you so much for that. Talk about giving someone looking for one a little bit of an upper hand! 😁(y)(y)

Make sure you buy him some coffee (see link in spreadsheet) if it's useful to you. He's been working on the spreadsheet for the RAV4 Prime for months and finally got that and the bZ4X spreadsheet working on a daily basis. Allocations still only happen twice a month, generally, but they sometimes trickle out on different days.

Will do on the coffee!!

Seems that allocations happen every other Thursday…based on the dealership I’m working with.

Edit: coffee bought!!!

Thanks! Great to see how often it's being updated with a notice of the next one. Will make sure to check it out frequently.

Somehow MD (As in Maryland) is getting some FWD..

Maryland dealers, especially Jerry’s, gets a large share of east coast Toyotas. Almost like they are the California of the east coast in allocations
I should tell my dealer they are not big enough to matter and see what they react with ;)

Pinged my local dealer and he says Toyota is now allowing FWD allocations for Northeast (once they start moving any cars that is)

Yep. I ordered my fwd back in June without issue

It appears the original set of allocations only showed a few moving to the Maryland area. So, I'm wondering once all the original allocations are done, they next set may include more. California clearly got 99% of the first sets.
