Hi , I just joined.
I test drove an Ioniq 5 yesterday. Very nice car but the styling is very 1980s hatchback. The dealer wants 5k above list price! Not a chance.
I have 2 Priuses - 1 with 300k miles. They are great cars so I know how good Toyotas are.
Looking forward to test driving a BZ4x as soon as they come out. I think it will be reasonably priced and the right car for me.

Hey @Raylan, welcome! What stands out to you about the bZ? Aside from Toyota's reliability.

Hi Electric Avenue

Thanks for asking.
I think the BZX4 looks beautiful, Strong and bold styling. Better then the ID.4, Tesla, Ioniq 5 and Ariya. Why would I want a "retro" car based on an 80's hatchback? Everyone says the Ioniq 5 is great looking but I don't think so.
I also think the car will be priced reasonably. Toyota is exactly right to stress affordability over horsepower. And really, who needs more than 215 horsepower? My Prius has 121 and I never feel it is underpowered. I usually pass other cars on the highway.
I like the yoke steering and it seems Toyota will do it right unlike Tesla.
For several years I was surprised that Toyota had dropped the ball on EV cars so I am very happy to see they are very much back in the game.
Looks like they have done the right thing in the end.
