I confirmed recently that the flush roof rails on the BZ4X are standard on both the XLE and Limited models. Does anyone know another Toyota that has flush roof rails of this type? I'm trying to take advantage of a Memorial Day weekend sale on Roof rack mounts that will be comptable with the BZ4. Needless to say, the BZ4X is not in the fit guide for either Thule or Yakima, so I need another car with a similar rectangular, flush mounted (no space between rack and vehicle) roof rail system.

Yes, I got a poor photo, but it appears to be a square-shaped roof rail (flush, i.e., no space between roof and rail), with rectangular tabs where presumably the fixed points of attachment are. The roof rail does not have a notch that runs the length of the rail, as for some of the Lexus models, so it seems the most appropriate Thule foot is the Fixpoint Evo or perhaps the Podium. Because I'm initially hoping to re-use square rails, I'd need the Fixpoint Evo as the Podium doesn't accept square rails. I'm adding this in case others are seeking the info - please comment if you successfully outfit your new BZ4X with rails, and I will too whenever I finally receive it.

I have attached a photo I took of the roof rail of the new 2023 Toyota BZ4X. It does look like the RAV4 roof and clearly has the cutout tabs for the fixed points of attachment. It does NOT have the deep indentation in the rails that would allow a clip-type rack as shown in the above post about Subarus. Also, the Ebay ad does not show the rack manufacturer, which makes me suspicious. I think the photo I attached shows conclusively that the Thule Fixpoint EVO feet should work. However, a fit kit bracket that is specific for the BZ4X (and possibly different from the RAV4) is arequired. as well.
