Weird, I don't have that slot on mine. It's just a smooth panel. Mine's a Limited, AWD, but it's a left-hand drive, although that probably doesn't matter. What trim level do you have?
Mine is the “Lounge” as called here in Cyprus…AWD, 20” rims.Weird, I don't have that slot on mine. It's just a smooth panel. Mine's a Limited, AWD, but it's a left-hand drive, although that probably doesn't matter. What trim level do you have?
Good guess, was my thought when i first noticed it but dont think its for that … its to slim to be that. Who knows mayb someone from Japan can educate us 😂Probably a place for this:
Seems reasonable. Too bad we don't get that in USA. Without a glovebox, it could be used to hold a small item or two. A pen, house keys? Glad they at least worked an insurance/registration card holder into the visor.Probably a place for this:
I figured it was to hold the toyota charging card. i also stuff in a few loyalty cards etc.Did anyone figure out what is this slot for ? Couldn't find any mention in the manual.
I think this is a very plausible purpose of the slot 😀 I was thinking of using it for the Toyota Service card 😂I figured it was to hold the toyota charging card. i also stuff in a few loyalty cards etc.
not sure how it works in the US but in ireland at least you can just tap the RFID card to charge at any of the various public charging operators. toyota have agreements with all of them to allow access to their charging networks via the toyota charge card. normally you would have to sign up with each provider and it's very convenient to have one card. it makes sense to have the card in a dedicated spot because i'm sure it would cause trouble if one partner kept it in their wallet and then you are at the charge station and can't find it 😄
