So basically 4 weeks with no production - this is an extension of just one additional week from their last "suspension of production" announcement that they released in July: August Production Plan | Corporate | Global Newsroom | Toyota Motor Corporation Official Global Website
Does this potentially mean that they actually start up production again as a fix for the recall issue gets implemented? These production announcements come out a month before, so unless they make an unexpected change, it would mean they actually start up the bZ4X line again from the second week of September?

My car was previously listed as arriving 16th September (initially 16th August) and is now 1st November.

Not sure what it means but it's been shut down since June 17th with no production. More like 12 weeks, not 4. Did you mean 4 days (1,2,4,5th of September)?

I was thinking more about production stop remaining from today with the additional week announced for September. I was thinking that if they really didn't know how they were going to fix the issue, then maybe they would have announced a longer stop of production for September, but I'm just speculating.

Ah, 4 MORE weeks. Sorry, was confused. I'm really hoping you are right but am losing optimism on the whole situation now. Between tax credits and production delays, might just jump off the ship for awhile. The only thing keeping me in it at this point is the fact that my BZ is sitting in the Port of New York right now. So close....yet so far away.

Assuming no last minute changes or issues from the cyclone, the line should be up and running for the first time since June 18th.👀🤞🤞
