Inspired by the ship tracking thread at Rav4world under the Prime sub-forum, I thought it would interesting to tinker with ship tracking while we hope….er…wait for a solution to the lug bolt issue. To do this, each person waiting would need to get the departure date from their dealer. After that, a little investigative work.

1st question: what port does the BZ4X shop from?same port as the Prime (Port of Toyohashio) or another (Port of Nagoya)?

2nd question: What shipping company do they use? Toyofuji? Another?

3rd question: Best site to track ships?

4th question: Can departure date be obtained without going through the dealer? Need exact departure date to track I would guess.

If BZ ships from same port and ships as Prime, Primestraw at Rac4world gives a daily summary of Toyota carrying ships both in and out of that port.

I think I have found my BZ ship but not 100% sure as not 100% sure what port it ships from?

enough for now….any takers? Any answers to above?

Toyota ship from Nagoya. Mine (UK) arrived in Bristol according to the Toyota order tracker, then transported to Derby, where it's been for a couple of weeks.

Hi mbell

I have had an order for the BZ4X since the middle of June, I have the order form but no others details. How do I get to the Toyota order tracker for the UK?

In my case I go to toyota.co.uk and choose “my vehicle” from the menu. Having logged in with my email address / password, it shows Toyota vehicles I’ve owned. On the “purchased” tab, it shows my bz4x status and vehicle tracker.

I wish the US would let customers have a tracker like that. We can only get info from the dealer.

anyway, here are photos of the route, ship going through the Panama Canal and finally, entering NY harbor with my BZ.

Thanks mbell. I just get the configured and owned tab, no purchased tab. Maybe the dealer needs to add something somewhere.

Maybe so. I’d have a word with them.

NB, when I ordered my car, I got a bunch of emails from the dealership under the guise of “My Toyota”. The first message said

Thank you for ordering a new Toyota Toyota bZ4X, your order has been added to your MyT account.
Remember, the MyT app and My Toyota Portal let you discover lots of interesting and useful information that will help you to get the most out of your new car. Plus, we’ll send you updates of your car’s status.
