I really like the No Safety Recalls display…
Is the charge status changing at all? I always wondered if they were going to keep them partially charged. Or if they’re just letting them slowly die?I did this some time ago with the VIN. Because it’s in the US now, shows charge status and a few other things. Feel like this is the closest I’ll ever get to owning it lol!
just to be clear, I didn’t buy it yet. Only deposit with dealer.

Has not updated since August 2nd so still reads same even though I know it hasn’t stayed the same. Not sure why no updates. Maybe dead battery!😳Is the charge status changing at all? I always wondered if they were going to keep them partially charged. Or if they’re just letting them slowly die?
Hopefully not a dead battery. That was one of my biggest concerns. Lot rot is bad for ice cars but poor battery management could hurt its lifespan especially if this thing continues to drag on. Hopefully they are occasionally charging it. Was also wondering if we could learn a bit about the passive charge loss and see how it compares to other cars.Has not updated since August 2nd so still reads same even though I know it hasn’t stayed the same. I'm on the waitlist for a RAV4 Prime and when one random vehicle was in transit to my dealer, I entered it into my Toyota app to see if I could see any information about its location. That was probably 6 months ago. Yesterday, I received a message from AT&T Customer Care (sent to an email address that I've only used for my Toyota account) that said my trial data plan is ending soon. So, still some more bugs to work out in their system.well!! It’s a known issue! Because I have had other cars in my account and they sometimes wouldn’t match information or actual car details ( for instance, I had an Avalon years ago and sold it, had removed from app but it always stuck online and couldn’t delete it online because I had connected services, well those services were shut off because I sold it duh!” Anyway they had to clear it out manually.
Agreed. But there are many bZ4X "Future" owners that have reported they have been able to add it to their app and view its location.... Therefore I have found it odd, that i can not do that. I wish i could. Would really like to see where my invested money is at and if its been charged. ugh. (yes, i did say invested... i know a car is not an investment, or at least it didn't used to be, but still is right now, ha haI'm on the waitlist for a RAV4 Prime and when one random vehicle was in transit to my dealer, I entered it into my Toyota app to see if I could see any information about its location. So apparently, they at least used to allow anyone to claim "ownership" of the vehicle in the app with just the VIN and they may still not have a good way to a new owner to take it over. So, the QR code is probably a good idea. Of course, you could claim it on a test drive, I guess.
My vehicle has been sitting at the dealer since the recall was issued. Battery has gone down by 2% the last time I checked my Toyota app. It hasn't been moved at all, they haven't even unlocked it or vented it out. I'm always hoping to get a vehicle alert on the app as a sign they're going to check something out - but so far nothing.Hopefully not a dead battery. That was one of my biggest concerns. Thanks for the update!! that's a bit annoying... hoping that we ALL hear something by Sept. 7th (day the plant reopens for production).... hopefully YOU hear something sooner though! Toyota will not announce until beginning of Q4, I guess. If production starts then we will know in which way they will announce 😊Thanks for the update!! that's a bit annoying... hoping that we ALL hear something by Sept. 7th (day the plant reopens for production).... hopefully YOU hear something sooner though! why do you THINK it won't be until Q4 until we hear something??Toyota will not announce until beginning of Q4, I guess. If production starts then we will know in which way they will announce 😊
There was a Toyotas statement that telling they will do announcement for recall at the beginning of Q4. If I can find the source I will share here.why do you THINK it won't be until Q4 until we hear something??

Ya, LOOKS to be like this is for the UK, not USA![]()
about 3/4 down the page in the QA section.
I’m not sure that statement is the gospel when it comes to the BZ4x.
Toyota also makes public production factory operation closures/changes/delays/etc.

It would seem any further production delays would be listed on this site, but that may not be a valid assumption…
