My curiosity is what the extend range would be with the solar panel roof.

I wonder why the range difference is so great, 10% (it's FWD vs. AWD, right?).

In the 2021 Sienna, the penalty for AWD is only 1 mpg, or less than 3%.

Why is it that us release still has it at 250ish Miles for range?

IDK, and at this point I don't care either. The Toyota webpage says "will be available in extremely limited quantities and only in a few select states", which means it's not a commercial product, which means it will not going to make either profit for Toyota or a meaningful impact on the electrification. What a disappointment ....

The AWD model has a bigger battery, probably big enough to make up most of that difference.
