It's being reported that first deliveries of the 2023 Toyota bZ4X are estimated to start around June 2022 in the U.S.
What dates have you guys heard?

While that may be possible, I don't think that's the case. My BZ was built on June 14th and assigned a final VIN. It shipped on the 21st. However, the plant production on that line stopped on June 17th and will be shutdown till about mid July. Since my BZ was 3 days before the shutdown, I doubt that they built them after that and put them on a lot incomplete (waiting for the fix) and not assigning the final VIN. Just my educated guess I suppose.I do wonder when things are going to be fixed. Given the likelihood that they knew about the issue in May, how long does it possibly take to work out what the fix is? It worries me that it's been likely over a month of them being aware now and still nothing.
My dealer seems to think mine is sitting in a lot somewhere and hasn't been allocated a VIN because they're waiting to remanufacture it for the recall. No idea how likely that is as I don't really know at what point in the process they allocate the final VIN.
Yeah, it seemed a bit weird. Mine was ordered on the 20th June and went to "Build in progress" a couple of days later and sat there. From what I read elsewhere, I don't know why it would have shown as entering the build process unless it actually had - making me think it must have been built before the shutdown and the dealer just assigned me a unit they'd already ordered and the tracking won't catch up until the car hits the UK hub. While that may be possible, I don't think that's the case. Agreed, this should be faster than what they are sayingI do wonder when things are going to be fixed. Ya, history shows that may be possible, although with the fact that the plant has been shut down again recently, it may be a few weeks longerWho knows. Going to be a mighty rush if they’re building it on 18th July and expect it to be delivered to me exactly a month later.
It’s still a popular car. My dealer said they had a lot of interest even though people couldn’t test drive it.

Toyota Motor Corp. has used up a key US tax credit for hybrid and electric vehicles, a milestone that the automaker says will raise its costs and hinder adoption of climate-friendly cars.
The company said Friday that it sold 3,876 plug-in hybrid and electric cars in June. The US allows automakers to offer a $7,500 tax credit to buyers of fully or partly electric cars, but only up to 200,000 per company. Toyota’s cumulative sales of eligible vehicles have now surpassed that threshold, according to data compiled by Bloomberg and confirmed with the company.
Delivery dates - as expected - just became more important….
Bloomberg - Toyota hits EV limit for tax credit.
Wonder if they’ll sting me with that when it gets delivered… time to check my contract very carefully…Prices for all trim models of bz4x rose £2,000 in the UK. Do you have the same situation in America or elsewhere?
Is your car order showing in my toyota on the website?Wonder if they’ll sting me with that when it gets delivered… time to check my contract very carefully…
Yes. I have a completed, definite order form and an allocated car/production slot.Is your car order showing in my toyota on the website?
Then I dont think this will affect you anymore. As contract is singed and oder is taken by toyota uk.Yes. I have a completed, definite order form and an allocated car/production slot.
It may be that you don’t have an increase in the US. My paperwork says my Motion FWD (mid level spec in the UK) costs £45750, and on the Toyota website it is currently £47580.I see same starting prices on US Toyota website. Can’t check v-spec pages right now as they were blocked. Where are you guys seeing this?
To directly answer your question, No, there have not been any changes to the MSRP here in the US… the only thing that has or could change is our dealerships adding Markup or additional dealer fees or both!! I found a dealership that is not doing either and I’m getting it at MSRP! And yes, I have that in a written purchase order! It may be that you don’t have an increase in the US. We don’t have dealer markups or tax credits - the law is that the price you see is the price you pay, including "destination fees" and "title fees".
