A friend of mine that works at a dealership in Southern California told me that some of their bZs are going to be arriving in two weeks. Has anyone heard anything similar?

That's what I was told today as well when I did my pre-contract today. 2 weeks out, wonder if port proximity has anything to do with it... I am close to the port in So. Cal too

Fantastic news! I'm glad this wasn't just dealer mumbo jumbo lol. Also, I came across the article from a few days ago, apparently deliveries in Canada are going to start in June.

What I heard from my Toyota rep is that they already have been assigned one bz4x to their dealership (not shipped) and the next time for another assignment will be in two weeks (and that one should be mine). He said when that happens they will customize it to my specs so probably that assignment will be filled with a car based on my request and will take a few weeks for delivery.
Honestly, still confusing and unclear what the process is.

ya, California, has theirs coming in pretty quick now, especially Southern, their port has released theirs. Pasadena had one too. I talked to them, they wanted $15k above MSRP... talked them down to $8 (but then they wanted $3k of a bunch of dumb extras they wanted to add to the car!) idiots! both them and the person that will pay the whole $15k.
one has already been reported SOLD at another dealership, the individual that purchased posted on Saturday!

Since the port was mentioned, the NJ dealership said that their BZ4X arrived in the port of NY on the 15th so looks like the East coast is getting them now too....don't know how many lol but they are getting them.

Ya, it just seams East coast is 2 weeks behind, since California ports had these two weeks ago, and they sit at port for at least a week and then get transported to dealerships later, which sometimes takes a week.
So, East coast is just to port now, it will probably be the end of May before the dealerships on that side see and sell them.

Makes sense since the dealer I'm working with stated that their first on lot arrival would be end of May / first of June (unfortunately, not mine as I'm 3 or 4 spots down the list!).
